Catholic University’s library and information science students are part of a vibrant, active community.

Our students are active in national library and information science organizations, participating in conferences and arranging events for each student chapter. Students have many opportunities to intern or work at a variety of libraries – public, law, federal, special, school – given our extensive alumni network and our campus location in Washington, D.C. Not only do we have practicum opportunities, but there are volunteer and paid jobs that we regularly list on our jobs portal.
