Congratulations to LIS Student Alex Audziayuk, the winner of the Potomac Technical Processing Librarians (PTPL) scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to a future librarian interested in technical services. Students living or working in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area) who are enrolled in an ALA-accredited Library and Information Science program were invited to apply. Alex had two references write letters recommending him, and he submitted his resume and a statement expressing his interest in technical services.
Along with the $2,000 scholarship money, Alex has received a one-year free membership in PTPL and may attend the annual conference free of charge.
