Alumni Reception during 2019 ALA Annual Conference

Dr. Young Choi, Chair of the Department of Library and Information Science, cordially invites you to join the Alumni Reception on Friday, June 21, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., on campus in the Law School Atrium. (Directions.) This special event is for all alumni, current students, faculty, and friends. While you are here in D.C. for the ALA conference, come and reconnect with your old friends and former faculty from your graduate school days. Join us for food, drinks, and good times. Family members are welcome to attend and alumni are encouraged to invite fellow alumni.

The Department of Library and Information Science Alumni Association works to enable graduates and former students of SLIS/LIS to maintain affiliation with the Department; to raise funds to supplement the funds of the Department; to encourage and support the continuing education of its members; to assist current students in pursuing career objectives; and to recognize outstanding alumni and faculty. You are automatically a member of the LIS Alumni Association if you have graduated from SLIS/LIS or have attended SLIS/LIS for a semester or more.
